Between this year and last year's shopping trips, I have gathered quite the collection of blanket scarves. Why? Because I'm obsessed... & they're awesome. I scored this one at Charlotte Russe for $5. No typo there. $5! If you haven't stocked up yet, you can shop this blog post --all sorts of cute and affordable options [that would also be great as gifts]! By the way, you can see my last gift guide here.
As for the rest of the outfit, it's pretty vintage ;P --a girls gotta shop her own closet during the holiday season [$$$]. These flares belonged to my sister when she was in high school [like I said, vintage --hehe! Love ya, sister!] and I haven't been able to part with them. I had them tailored to fit me better and I just love them! Flares, especially in a dark wash, do a really great job of slimming your legs and making them look extra long --getchu some. I prefer to wear them with rounded toe heels/heels that can't be seen [insert: ugly bridesmaid heels I found in the back of my closet]. If you know me well enough, you know I'm always rushing out the door so of course there was no time for me to iron these jeans. Had I ironed them, I could have pressed them enough to allow the pants to cover my heels. Oh well, what can ya do? [stare at these photos in regret that you didn't do that]
Anywho, our last "vintage" piece today is the menswear inspired blazer I'm wearing. I bought it at TJ three[ish] years ago and just ripped off the tags. I knew I liked it, I just hadn't felt like wearing it until now :) I'm glad I held on to both the blazer and the jeans. As for the heels? They can go. I'll be on the hunt for a new pair to wear with my flares.

I leave you with a little buddy who was lurking in the shadows, playing with his nuts, while watching us take photos. Oops, did that sound weird? Byeeeee!
