Yesterday's scenery was too pretty and I loved how vibrant my coat looked in the snow so I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the overload of photos :)
[[and this one's just for sh!ts & giggles --HAPPY MONDAY!]]
Coat: Target [similar here, cute option here] | Sweater: Target [other heart options here, here, here] | Hooded Tee: American Eagle | Denim: H&M | Necklace: Windsor [similar here] | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Michael Kors | Rings: love ring here, here, here // Heart ring here| Boots: Clarks [similar pair here & here]
I stopped by Target yesterday to check out the Peter Pilotto line and ended up leaving with a top and a dress.
I tried on a few other pieces but I have to agree with others I talked
to, the sizes were a little iffy. Incase you haven't purchased anything
yet and you're ordering online, my dress size is six and I bought an
extra small and I bought a small in the top.
I
kept going back and forth on the drop waist shift dress because I don't
think drop waists look very flattering on me. Ignoring that, I
purchased the dress anyway because it was the last dress in my size and I
didn't want to regret not buying it. After going home and spending half
an hour creating different looks for the dress, I decided to keep it. I
was thinking the dress would be a one time wear because it's such a
bold pattern but I realized it can practically be paired with anything.
Each way you style it takes on a whole new look so maybe I can trick
people into thinking it's a different dress every time ;D
[[See a few looks I came up with here.
Keep in mind none of these looks were perfected or included any jewelry
so I'm sure it will look even better once I put more effort into it!]]
Here are a few looks I came up with the top --I just love it!
Did you buy anything? What did you think of the line?
Love this outfit!! That coat is gorgeous and I'm loving the heart sweater, you look so cozy and chic! I bought a handful of pieces with the intention of only keeping one, but I figured I'd get some options for that very reason of not knowing how they fit. I love how you've styled the dress and top!
ReplyDeleteThanks, girl! I hope all your sizes work out. I wish I would've ordered a few pieces online because my Target didn't have everything I was eying :/
DeleteToo many pictures? No such thing! I am so glad you warned us about the Peter Pilotto collection. My target had absolutely nothing that I wanted, so I was going to order somethings online. Glad I saw this! Love your coat!

Thanks, Leah! The options at my Target were definitely limited. I really want one of the swim suits. !!!!
DeleteLove how your coat looks in this wintry background! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time since Target has collaborated with designers, I didn't jump to buy anything! 0_o weird right? I must be burnt out AND I need to give my wallet a break. I think the bold patterns are really great but, if I'm fortunate to find anything on sale, I'll probably buy then? Love how some people have styled their pieces though.

I don't blame you, Nancy. My wallet definitely wishes I would've skipped out on going to Target that day because you KNOW I bought more than just that dress & top! I just don't have the self restraint :/
DeletePretty girl, love the red against the snow.
