When deciding on an outfit the other day, I was in search for "my most responsible-looking ensemble", when I decided this embellished top was the chosen one. However, the few times I've worn it has been with a pencil skirt, and we all know baring legs this week would be a mistake.
Then it happened.
"Where's my white collarless shirt from Fred Segal?!"
I knew this tunic was the winner. It was "my most capable-looking outfit". After adding the knee high boots, I instantly felt like Cher from Clueless. It was a good day.
This coat is one of the coats I talked about in this post that I got for $17 at Target --I just love the peplum detail!
Sweater: Kohl's [fancy shoulder options here, here, here, here, here] | Tunic: Express [similar here] | Denim: JCPenney [cute polka dot option here] | Bracelets: Sira & Mara | Coat: Target | Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target [splurge here, save here] | Boots: Clarks [similar here & here]
Have a good weekend!
I adore the details on the shoulder of your sweater!

Great look! You look goregous! Everytime I see that bag I kick myself for not standing in line outside of Target the day that collection launched!
ReplyDeleteSimply Cydney
Aw thanks, Cydney. That sucks ;( I was fortunate enough to go back to Target for a second bag! It seemed as though no one around here really cared about the collection, which worked in my favor!
DeleteGreat look! That sweater's shoulder details are absolutely amazing.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Johanna! No, not a recent purchase.. I've actually had it for like 4 years :/ It was the Britney Spears Candies Collection. Sorry, lady!
DeleteLove this! Even more so since it's Cher inspired :)

Something About That
Aw, it looks like my earlier comment didn't post. I loved Clueless (and I saw the resemblance in your outfit instantly. Isn't this the outfit that she wears in that final scene when she realizes that she is indeed clueless? Obviously, I know this movie too well). Also, love those dramatic shoulder embellishments on the sweater!
