Stuff to Stuff

This post may be a little early, but Christmas will be here before we know it, and I have learned from past experiences that it's best to get a head start on your shopping list!

When it comes to opening gifts on Christmas morning, nothing excites me more than going through my stocking --you can fit so many goodies inside of them, it's like the gift that keeps giving! Here's a round up of ideas that are $50 or less!
Stocking Stuffers
Sofia Blanc de Blancs [4 for $20 at local liquor store-- it's practically champs in a can, people]
Motivational Pencils [these are funny, too]

Need more ideas?
gold in a jar
mini perfume
jewelry
false eyelashes
scratch off tickets
giftcards
candy/gum/mints
lotion
cute apron to encourage baking
on-the-go printed tissue
stationary
coal

... & let's not forget about Target's dollar section --it's a gold mine for stocking stuffers!

Happy stuffing! ;D

Shoesday Tuesday

I've told you guys over and over and over again how much I love Charlotte Russe's shoe selection; totally fab and totally affordable. I died when I saw these Barbara Bui ankle booties but wasn't fond of the $445 price tag, plus they were sold out everywhere, as they were from 2011 [you can see them on Annabelle from Viva Luxury here]. Low and behold: Charlotte Russe got a very similar pair in stock that has a little something extra --a cap toe. Maj.

Look-Alikes

Look-Alikes

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7

Remember back in this post when I told you that if I miss out on a shoe from Zara, I can almost always find a very similar pair at Charlotte Russe? After browsing their website last Shoesday Tuesday, I was noticing just how many look-alikes they have right now. The best part? None of them are priced over $39 -- fabulous!

As I'm sure most of you noticed recently, when Target has designer collaborations, shit sells out... fast. So for all of you girls who still aren't sleeping because your shoe-drobe missed out on Prabal Gurung's black lace up heels, you can finally get some shut eye.

And how amazing are the Gucci look-alikes? Haaaaawwwwt [sing that out loud in a really high pitched voice to get the full effect]! Pretty spot on, I'd say. Charlotte's website had a white pair but the only colors left now are black and nude. Either way, you're getting the same look for much, much less.

Searching for the perfect pair of flats? These d'orsay flats are another Zara look-alike. Note: they run a full size & a half too big [insane]. Totes took three shipments to finally order the correct size, and I still think I could've gone down another half size... you'll have that.

Also, I ordered down half a size with shoe number 5.
Charlotte is offering 20% off site-wide today so happy shopping, ladies!

Markus Lupfer vs. F21

Splurge or Save

Forever 21

Markus Lupfer

While many of us love the Markus Lupfer designs, not all of us can afford to spend $150-450 on one of his sweaters.

Forever21 nailed it with the sweatshirt featured above. It looks very similar to the Markus Lupfer Polka Dot Lips sweater but is only $23! Investing in trendy pieces is typically not a great idea because they're not going to be around long and you'll usually only get a few wears out of whatever it is, so I think this F21 sweatshirt is a great option. Plus, any day that sequins are involved is guaranteed to be a good day so there's really no reason for you not to buy this sweatshirt [I'm a bad influence].

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive but I can't wait to wear it. I love how Rachel, from Pink Peonies, styled her Markus Lupfer sweater here -- I just might have to recreate the look!

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

The countdown is on. Two more days until 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target hits stores. The collection will include men and women's apparel, accessories, shoes, and [my favorite part] bags. The prices range from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories.

Above are just a few of the items in the collection that caught my eye. Obviously, the bag at the bottom. I will claw my way through the crowd politely wait with my Starbucks in hand for that bag Sunday morning. It looks similar to the Pashli bag but is priced at $54.99. Thank you, Phillip, for thinking of poor girls like me ;D

I also love the comic strip sweater that Jessica Alba wore here.

No body get in my way.
