PJs In Public

... because who really wants to get ready on a Monday morning? For those days when you want to leave the house in pajamas [but we know you would never do that], rather than making yourself look presentable: you need a pair of these pants. You're basically wearing pajamas but all you have to do is add a good heel and some jewelry and you step out the door looking like a #bossbetch #bosslady. You can make it even easier on yourself by covering your bed head up with a leather cap, adding a little sporty vibe.
Speaking of boss ladies, if you haven't read #GIRLBOSS yet, get to it! Sophia Amoruso shares her inspiring story of how she went from dumpster diving to being the founder, CEO, and creative director of a $100-million-plus company [all within 8 years] also known as >> Nasty Gal. I'm sure you've heard of it before and shopped the goodies! Oh, and she's only 30. Get. It. Girl.

How cute are these pumps? They're such a pretty pink [and only $23] I couldn't say no.
These pants would also be a really great option if you're going out to eat. As you stuff your face and your food baby grows, sooo do the pants --wait, what? I have six similar pairs...
Tee: a.n.a via TJMaxx | Pants: Jennifer Lopez for Kohl's | Earrings: LC Lauren Conrad | Ring: Vintage | Necklace: Sammy Dress [similar here, here's the exact one at Walmart! Yes, you read that correctly. For $10!]| Clutch: Malibu Bows [obsessed with pretty much every clutch they have to offer. Remember my review here?] | Heels: Windsor

Sealed With Sequins

A gloomy, rainy day calls for nothing other than sequins!
Remember when I talked about this sweatshirt back in this post? Well here she is. In all of her sequined glory... plus a few of my other favorite things: leopard, leather, and polka dots! Your day is bound to be great when you have all of that going on.

Confession: these pants, they have a tear on my backside just under the belt line [GNO & attempts to "get low", gets me everytime].. yeeeet, I just can't seem to part with them. They're the best faux leather pants I've ever owned. The fit is amazing, they actually have pockets, and you know how most leather pieces make your body temp raise 20+ degrees as soon as you put them on? These pants don't because the inside is lined with cotton; genius. Did I mention they were twenty dollars? They were twenty dollars.
I have desperately been in search for what I believe to be the "perfect" leather pants so until those are found, I'll continue to wear this pair with shirts that cover the tear [& hope that they don't rip any further]. Shameful, I know. if any of you ladies have found what you believe to be the perfect pair, holler at ya' girl.

Sweatshirt: F21 [also love this one & this one] | Collared shirt: Violet & Claire via TJMaxx [similar here & here] | Earrings: Piperlime | Bracelets: Sira & Mara, Express, Kohl's | Rings: H&M [similar here], Kohl's |Pants: Jou Jou via TJMaxx [similar here & here] | Clutch: Malibu Bows via Etsy | Pumps: Target [similar here]

As I have said about leather shorts, the same goes for leather pants: if you don't own a pair, get some! They're the perfect casual meets dressy, plus, they'll keep you warm in the winter.

P.S. The camera was apparently unappreciative to my matching lipstick on my lips and decided it would rather shoot as if I had white lipstick on. Thanks, Cam.
[this one is for you, Mags]

Grungy Green & Sparkly Bling

Oopsies, "grungy" green has been making quite the appearance on the blog lately! I think it's a great color to take your wardrobe into fall so that's probably why I've been gravitating towards it.

With the grunge color of pants, combined with the leather, I had to "girly it up" with some sparkly bling!
These pants were another purchase from when I was in Chicago recently. I love, love, love the leather and zipper details. They're also the perfect length to wear with ankle strap heels like these.

Tank: Express | Pants: F21 [also love these that will be on their way to my door step soon] | Earrings: F21 [similar here, here, here] | Necklace: Ebay [similar here], Vintage [similar here & here] | Rings: H&M | Bracelets: ILY Couture, J.Crew Factory, t+j Designs, Vintage [similar here] | Clutch: Malibu Bows via Etsy | Heels: Zara

Did everyone make their way to Target to scoop up some 3.1 Phillip Lim pieces yesterday?! I got a late start but was happy upon arrival when it appeared that I was probably the first to scope out the collection.

I ended up buying this bag, and then went back [because I'm a psycho] an hour later, and bought this one. I'll have to admit, when I first saw the mini satchel, I thought to myself, "Aw, that's so cute ... for a seven year old girl..!" because the bag is so miniature. Then I left the store with just the black tote in hand and couldn't stop thinking about the mini satchel. I've seen other girls with the Pashli Mini Satchel and always drooled over it, but seeing the bag in person didn't have the same affect on me.

Just so I wouldn't regret not buying the mini satchel and then it selling out, I raced back to Target to give the bag a second chance. I stood in front of a mirror and tried the purse on with the cross-body strap and instantly had a change of mind. It no longer looked like it was made for a child. The next question: which color do I need? Black? Or taupe?

After about ten minutes of looking like a dork in front of the mirror and texting pictures to my sister asking which bag she liked best, I settled on taupe because it's such a rich, pretty color and I have nothing else like it! I also tried on a few things, including the boom sweatshirt that I wanted, but didn't fall in-love with anything so I passed.

What did you guys walk away with?!
