Lately, I've been trying to get a lot of projects done around the house so the blog has been put on the back burner [project clothes and chipped nails are not cute, trust] but I just had to share these heels with you! When I think of Alloy, I have flashbacks of me begging my mom to buy me this or that in junior high. However, every once in a while, I'll receive one of their catalogs in the mail and I'm pleasantly surprised with their selection.
When I saw these heels, I darted to the computer to purchase them, then paused. I was having coffee with my mom and turned to her for approval, asking her if I really "needed" them. Her response was, "Of course!" ...great influence, huh? I think she's trying to get me back for all the money I made her spend on me as a kid.
Normally, I tend to associate an acrylic or lucite heel with strippers but these heels are far from stripper kicks. I love them. Not only are they super cute with all of their fun details, they're also super comfortable. I wore them for eight hours on Sunday with no problem --I even got compliments at Lowe's ;D I think they'd also be great paired with distressed denim shorts or boyfriend jeans!
I'm also obsessed with my new bracelet from Capwell. It's a great piece to make it look like you layered tons of bracelets but only have to hassle with one clasp [which is perfect for me, considering I am terrible at putting bracelets on without Jeremy's assistance]!
I like the way your mom thinks ha! I mean how you could pass these up?! They are soooo stinkin cute and can literally be worn a million different ways :) Glad to see you back on the blog-I hope you post pics of the house projects when your done :)

Thanks, Olivia! The shirt was looking a little too baggy and the tuck just wasn't working --the knot seemed to work just perfectly!
