Red High Heels

Whenever I'm in a hurry to get out the door [which is more frequent than I'd like to admit, because I'm always running behind sched], I tend to reach for a black and white ensemble because I know it will just "work". Throwing on the red pumps with this outfit was a no brainer.
This pair of coated denim jeans from H&M is the perfect alternative to leather pants. They give off a similar look but aren't as hot as leather can be. And the cute zippers at the ankles are matchy-matchy with the zippers on my bag; me likey.
Tip: A bold lip goes a long way. It instantly makes it look like you put a lot more effort into your outfit than you really did; easy peasy! Speaking of a red lip, whenever I wear red lipstick, I can't help but think of Loubis. Until the day I own a pair of red soles, I'll stick with Maybelline's Color Sensational lipstick, "Are You Red-dy" to get me through my day dreaming. I'm also looking for a good plum colored lipstick right now, any suggestions?
Here's one of the bags I bought on Sunday, making its first appearance! Lim did good, right?

"High heels are pleasure with pain."

"The shiny red color of the soles has no function other than to identify to the public that they are mine. I selected the color because it is engaging, flirtatious, memorable, and the color of passion."

"Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally."

And lastly, Mr. Louboutin and I couldn't agree more about clogs [Crocs, especially] and the word "comfy": "I hate the concept of the clog! It's fake, it's ugly, and it's not even comfortable! And I hate the whole concept of comfort! It's like when people say, 'Well, we're not really in love, but we're in a comfortable relationship.' You're abandoning a lot of ideas when you are too into comfort. 'Comfy' that's one of the worst words! I just picture a woman feeling bad, with a big bottle of alcohol, really puffy. It's really depressing, but she likes her life because she has comfortable clogs." Ha! Just don't buy a pair of Crocs, ladies. Ever.
